Wed Studio is disrupting the bridal market with a touch of high fashion. Amy Trinh and Evan Phillips met at Central Saint Martins and launched the brand in 2019. ‘Challenging the potential of bridal has allowed us to offer something unique,’ the duo explained. ‘It comes from a deep understanding and appreciation of fashion.’
Wed Studio has become the go-to for fashion-industry insiders who are fastidious about design. The wedding dress matters. ‘For us to have captured the imagination of those brides for such a special moment is a real achievement,’ they say.
While Wed Studio does offer more directional takes on request, tradition often reigns. White and ivory dominate their designs, while silhouettes are primarily A-line and corset- focused. Trinh, who is planning her own wedding, says: ‘There is always a balance, a sense of ease and something unexpected.
