British Vogue: "This Bride’s Wedding Gown Was Inspired By Audrey Hepburn In Sabrina"
The fathers of the bride and groom wore custom suits by Casely-Hayford, while Eden worked with design duo Wed Studio on her wedding dress. “I wanted something clean and simple, without the fuss, but I also wanted to feel strong and sexy. Womanly, but with a girly twist. We landed on something that’s quite ’90s. The tight drop waist bodice feels quite McQueen, but then the skirt is fairly full and feels like the other half of my personality – it was inspired by an Audrey Hepburn dress in the film Sabrina,” the bride explains. “The team then placed some super clever gathers at the sides of the dress, as I wanted a lift at the front so some of my legs were visible. There was also a keyhole element in the back which was masterfully designed by Wed Studio, as the opening wanted to work against the purpose of the corset – to cinch. I was really pleased we managed to figure that out.”
